TemplateVariableInfo

Encapsulates template variables, that is, variables that can be referenced by strings like $(VARIABLE) in BUILD files and expanded by ctx.expand_make_variables and implicitly in certain attributes of built-in rules.

TemplateVariableInfo can be created by calling its eponymous constructor with a string-to-string dict as an argument that specifies the variables provided.

Example: platform_common.TemplateVariableInfo({'FOO': 'bar'})

to_json

string TemplateVariableInfo.to_json()

Creates a JSON string from the struct parameter. This method only works if all struct elements (recursively) are strings, ints, booleans, other structs, a list of these types or a dictionary with string keys and values of these types. Quotes and new lines in strings are escaped. Examples:

struct(key=[1, 2, 3]).to_json()

to_proto

string TemplateVariableInfo.to_proto()

Creates a text message from the struct parameter. This method only works if all struct elements (recursively) are strings, ints, booleans, other structs or a list of these types. Quotes and new lines in strings are escaped. Keys are iterated in the sorted order. Examples:
